Celestial religion from the perspective of Shem angels

All Shem angels teach about celestial religions, angelic liturgies, angelic temples, holy places, blessed souls and saints. Among them, Mebaiah, Daniel and Pahaliah are the main guardians of the genuine priests from the Earth Zone. They give strong support to magicians on their own religious paths and they are ready to reveal all secrets which are related to their religious interests. They teach about God and religions from their own perspective, which is angelic and Mercurial. As it is not human, not surprisingly it can sometimes be quite different from the perspective of our own human doctrines and theologies. Besides, celestial priests of all other planetary zones can become your great religious teachers too.

The fact that many priests from our world’s reality have clearly shown how much they despise magic should not encourage magicians to denounce religion, because each religion is in its essence magical too. Advanced magicians focus on pearls of wisdom which every religion has.

You may expect a greater success rate in your evocations if you use the Psalms. Sometimes, the psalms may be the “missing key” for a proper evocation. They can give you a greater insight into the nature, powers and offices of each Shem angel.

According to cabalist lore, King David was the first to spot that God’s names were written in the Psalms. A. Kircher attributed specific psalms to all Shem angel in Oedipus Aegyptiacus. The way how he had done that, it has been generally accepted by later generations of mystics and magicians.

If you apply the Psalms in your evocations, consider to write them down in your special notebook, which you would thereafter keep on your altar and use in your ceremonies. Certainly, you can read the Psalms directly from the Bible too. There have been suggestions in some magical circles that the Psalms should be recited in Latin. This language has a remarkable power to focus on important things without using necessary words. If you do not understand Latin, then it is better to read the Psalms in your native language. It has been also suggested to sing the Psalms during evocations, which might be a good idea, but only if you are musical.

Sepher Shimmush Tehillim’s “Use of the Psalms” is a part of The Sixth and Seven Moses Book, and is a very interesting material for someone who would like to learn more about the usage of the Psalms in magic. The publisher and translator of the “Use of the Psalms” insists that only people of a moral character can expect success:

“Yes, dear reader, you must not doubt. Through a pious life and by a rational use of the Psalms you may obtain the grace of God, the favor of princes and magistrates and the love of your fellow-men. You will be enabled to protect yourself from danger, to escape suffering, and to promote your own welfare.”
