This is Ammonius Saccas, one of the greatest sages from the past, he was just an ordinary harbor worker, but spent most of his time at the Alexandria market where much like Socrates had his group of students, pagans and Christians alike, they were all attracted by his wisdom and light, some of there students are: Plotinus, Origen, Origen the Christian, Origen the Pagan, Herennius and Cassius Longinus. He was a wonderful man, soul and teacher. So let’s remember him with love.
